Architect Ronald Nickel (Germany) has been in practice by himself for already 35 years. The specialist deals with designing, planning, as well as work organization, and supervises the construction process.
“At the end I am still trying to apply such a style and experience that I had in Germany. But I do not consider that our architecture trends radically differ. Particularly in Marupe we used quite a big amount of wood – that also is commonly practiced in Latvia, as I noticed. And for me especially important was the fact that I could apply the quality I got accustomed in Germany and implemented it here. That was the most important”, says R. Nickel.
